The Responsibilities of Being an Expert Witness
Join the NZAFI at their upcoming Annual General Meeting for an insightful programme surrounding the responsibilities of being an expert witness.
NOTE: THIS IS A FREE EVENT
When: Thursday 4th July & Friday 5th July 2024
Where: 77 Te Hauaki Crescent, Rotorua (Fire and Emergency NZ National Training Centre)
The workshop will extend to understanding matters such as expectation bias, providing expert opinions, and will culminate in a punchy presentation from 2 of New Zealand’s leading barristers, and one of New Zealand's key litigation lawyers who between them, have extensive knowledge and experience in taking fire-related investigations through the court process. During this session, the participants will develop a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities in respect to being an expert witness.
This is a unique opportunity for all NZAFI members to attend a workshop that is both worthwhile and meaningful.
